Geospatial Technology in Sustainable Cities and Communities
Special issue on Geospatial Technology in Sustainable Cities and Communities
The Guest Editors would like to invite the selected papers that will be presented at the 7th International Conference on Geomatics and Geospatial Technology (GGT) 2021 on 24th March 2021, Kuala Lumpur and considered for inclusion in the special issue of IJGER, which is scheduled to be published by June 30, 2021. This special issue aims to demonstrate how we could leverage geospatial technology for sustainable cities and communities.
We welcome contributions dealing with a variety of geospatial technologies (e.g., GIS, remote sensing, spatial statistics, photogrammetry, and geomatics) and topics that address better cities and communities for a sustainable future. The true power of geospatial technology is often realized by ingesting information from other systems and technologies to visualize patterns and relationships never seen before. Geospatial technology can evaluate everyday situations in government, but recently the visibility of these analyses has magnified.
The potential manuscripts for this special issue must present and manifest the improvement and development of geospatial technology applied in research topics including but not limited to the following:
- Urban planning
- Energy and environment
- Disaster prevention and mitigation
- Climate change and extreme weather
We welcome full-length papers as well as review papers and short case study examples. Interested authors should send a title, an abstract (less than 250 words), and key words to firstname.lastname@example.org by Dec 2, 2020.
