Main purpose of this research is to understand different properties of proteins/enzymes and using purification methods to obtain pure protein samples in understanding their functions. Background information is immensely helpful in understanding how proteins and their basic components amino acid's function. By using microbiology and BioChem techniques, we can break open different cells like bacterial and extract the protein and purify it using various purification methods. Because proteins help support life. These biomolecules are the very essence in how everything in our body works and for cell function, from metabolism to neuron signaling. By researching these proteins, we can figure out their structure, thus leading us to the protein function. The goal of this research is to continuously obtain and purify different proteins to observe their structure and mechanism with other molecules.
